hello, i'm kinda new here but i thought i would show off one of my projects. i call it the "beast" because it just wont die. it started off as a junk riding lawn mower that didnt run and i started turning it into a go-kart. its one of those projects that will never be finished because i will always be adding more stuff to it. but laet me know what you think:
1 & 2: this is how i got it (for FREE)
3: fresh paint
4 & 5: my custom fenders
6: headlights
7: instrument panel
8: Briggs & Stratton 10 hp
9: my "beautiful" wiring
10: when i first got it, the maidon voyage

the tranny was whatever came with it when it was bought. not only was i goin for speed, but i would constantly pop wheelies in it, it would easily drag the battery tray i mounted on the hitch (no picture). so i'm sure that didnt help

Maybe you need to re-think where the batery should be, like possibly along one of the side rails. That way, your hitch mount is clear for the custom wheelie bars ....
