Well you have to remember, I've been 130 on a motorcycle, I'm a speed demon , but you need to have the right acceleration and the right power to have the perfect gear ratio, but how does a bigger sprocket give better acceleration ?

because a bigger rear sprocket increases the number of times the engine has to turn to get the wheel to turn. meaning the engine will be able to accelerate to that speed faster since there is less load on the engine.

of course, make a 1:1 ratio and all thats going to happen is the clutch will slip and get hot and burn out.

i need a torque converter sometime soon lol.

Riding a bike 130 and driving a bike at 130 are two totally different things. Add in the fact that a minibike isnt going to have as smooth of a ride. Ive been around 80 on a county road and that was sketchy enough. Been 90 in my dads Tarus on that same road:roflol:

I see. Is 420 and 41 chain compatible ? I want the motor to have the get up and go, acceleration and all, the mixture needs a bit of playing with, but I'll get it right. I know the engine wasn't getting to the right speed due to acceleration, was this why it seemed like it had gears? I think this engine has a bit of use in it , but I think of I keep taking care of it as I do now it'll last forever. And hmm, a tc sounds nice on my mini bike

Your right, my father is a stupid , cheating , drunk and he's already lost his memory from an accident, but you have to remember the bike was made to go fast

Well the thing is when I bought the bike it had 420 and now 41 , and they seemed to fit. But I'll be using the 420 chain

the 420 is wider and will alow a tiny bit more play in the sprocket allignment.. you probably have 41 sprockets.

I have the original sprocket and chain thats 420 but a 41 clutch. I didn't know the old one was 420 but Ive made sure my sprockets and chain line up tight look in my pictures how tight the chain is

well im at a 54 tooth rear and 10 front, which seemed fine before the chain broke due to the bearings, i pulled apart the recoil and blower housing because the pull start would catch or catch and wouldnt retract, so when i pulled it apart out came the seal from the stater clutch, and all the ball bearings dropped and i only manged to find 5, and even at the for the life of me i cant figure out how it goes back together, can anyone show me a demonstration?

Aren't you like 14-15? o.o granted I got my first bike when I was 16 and it was easily capable of 150+

starting to get mad, i changed the starter clutch today and hooked everything back off, i was mad to see four things, the killswitch wires no longer do anything, it takes 4 to five pull to start the engine cold, the chain seems tight but looks like its about to fly off and the gear ratio still isint right, its 5:1 and the clutch is burning up, still, i only ran it for about 15 seconds and it was very, very, hot

well i noticed the engine was vibrating really, really bad, so i pulled off the recoil after having to leave the bike at my neighbors due to pouring rain, and guess what i found, a broken flywheel fin, its one of the cast iron ones and its left a stub, do i need a need flywheel?

Most likely, yes.
