im not painting my seat learned my lesson on that, all paints been removed from there, and the wheels will be returned to normal tho, but can i use another sprocket as a space without harming anything?
washers would be the better option, and would be well within your $5.00 budget.im not painting my seat learned my lesson on that, all paints been removed from there, and the wheels will be returned to normal tho, but can i use another sprocket as a space without harming anything?
Its from a lack of lubrication. i just did this about 2 weeks ago. You'll need to take the recoil cover off to get to the starter clutch. It looks like this:

Use a flathead screwdriver to pop off the seal/ring around the shaft. There are 6 steel balls behind this seal. They may fall out when you get the seal off, so make sure to keep your hand under it to catch them. Get all 6 of the balls out and clean them a little. The clutch shaft will come off easily. Take that off and clean it. That squeal is caused by a lack of lubrication between the crankshaft and the clutch, so you need to put some oil on the end of the crankshaft and on the inside of the starter clutch shaft. Put it back together, starting with the clutch shaft. Its a PITA to get those balls to stay in, but its easier if you have the engine leaning back a little. Once you have the balls in the right place (its obvious where they go) put the seal back on. Test it by turning the starter clutch both ways. It should only be able to turn one way. Put everything else back on and your done.
does running it with the lack of lubrication hurt the engine?
