alright guys, here is the lowdown,
frien purchased 1989 indy 340cc sled,the sled is S*it but the drivetrain remains unmolested.
we ware quite obviously going to make this into a kart, as the plan is to hack off the entire section of the machine that has the drivetrain on it,and utilize that as a subframe in which the kart is built on. by using the sleds jackshaft and brakes that saves ut the trouble,but what other parts from the sled could we use to make this build cheaper?
the idea is to use this concept and make a 2 wide buggy/rail that can carry us to 70+ mph.
hit me with what you would do with the sled parts,and what kind of advice can yiou give us on building a sled engined kart.
