tecumshe not running ohh50

i have a tecumsha enduro ohh50b it runns like a champ on idle ><
the check ball bearing is stuck iv had it siting in oil 1 day industrial paint thinner >its so strong you dip and paints gone <. but that ball is stuck. can i use air compressor in the high speed ajustment ? .
or is there a different way 100$ for that danm carb .i will throw motor in river 1st. i have a different carb off an older 5hp that runs on there but no breather so do i need that or what i know cloging breather is very bad is there a part i can make to mabey to go b4 the air filter to mabey add breather?

Check ball bearing? What is that? Are you sure the float isnt sticking closed or one of the jets is clogged?

Some carbs have a ball check valve that can be a real bi(r)tch to free up.
Paint thinner will not work. Try acetone.
Avoid hitting anything plastic or rubber.

Its been so long since i've touched a Tec carb i can't recall. I thought i've had every problem in the book but i've never had an issue with the little brass ball in any carb.

ok i will try acetone iv got some industrial versions of that to and i have primer out so if that helps
