Can't leave it Stock!
If any one has a 5hp Tecumseh OHV and has gotten rid of the govenor, can you post some pics of how you did your throttle linkage? Not a lot of room and I am drawing a blank. I would greatly appreciate it.

With a stock intake, you can leave the governor arm and just remove the governor gear on the inside. The governor arm really just becomes a linkage then, and you can use the stock cable set-up.
Otherwise, you'll probably have to make a bracket to hold the cable. I used to run these with custom intakes, so I had to make a throttle bracket.
