I recently bought a Tec SK engine brand new off of ebay for $230 shipped. According to the Seller it was an 8HP. But according to the part number and model number on the side of the engine it is indeed a 11HP This is the One i got.

For the price it is awesome. i cant wait to get a frame designed up and welded together. A few questions though....

1) Is there a company that makes a Pistons/Rods for Tec engines? I found alot of B&S but no Tec.

2) I have a Early GM Vane Type Smog Pump That makes about 13 psi @ 3300 RPM. I want to try and retrofit this to the Tec and Make it supercharged. ive seen it done and it works quite well. with 93 oct. How would i modify the carb for a Blow through confing?

3) Also, Clutches. Its hard for me to find a 1" Clutch. do you guys know where i can find one that can stand up to a supercharged 11hp. (Will go nitrous if smog pump dosent work.)

You can get Tecumseh parts real easy buy em pretty much anywhere, I order through the local hardware store. To mod the carb pull off the airfilter cover and build a new cover that seals everything off except a hose port. Air blows into sealed box, blows through filter and into carb. 1" clutches are a bit harder to find and run about $60.
