Hello forum members,
I will be getting a Tecumseh Snow king 2 cycle engine soon that will not include the original carburetor/muffler;
I was wondering what carburetor might work with this engine(
139 c.c.,8.5 c.i. displacement,4.5 hp):confused:

I think the engine would need an intake manifold adapter if I were to use the Walbro,but have only seen pictures of the sellers' engine that looks like there may not be an intake manifold between the OEM carb and engine!!

This engine was originally used in a Simplicity snow thrower
that had used a fixed speed carburetor,hence the reason for looking for replacement Walbro WB-34-1 OR WB-55. :worried2:
I will also need a muffler/exhaust pipe to fit this #TH139SA-900394B engine since the engine will not include the OEM muffler in the sale!!

If anyone has any comments ,tips ,suggestions,or experience with converting snow thrower engines/upgrading, and replacing carburetors/mufflers on 2 cycle engines,I would greatly appreciate a reply!!

btw,the engine I will be getting looks like the uploaded attachmnet,but without carb/muffler.

Actually, I don't think you'll need a new carb... "Fixed Speed" just means that the governor keeps the carb adjusted to maintain a certain rpm. You can still disconnect the gov and hook up a throttle to it. Can't wait to hear how well these motors do.
