Tecumseh OHH60 question

Hey guys,
I just got my first go kart, its a two seater murray with a tecumseh OHH60. I had to take carb off and clean it but it runs great now. I was wondering if its safe to run just a header with out damaging the engine? If so which ones do you recommend?

by header do you mean a straight pipe exhaust? if you do run a straight pipe usually you wont one that is about 12'' or longer so you dont warp the valve for the exhaust. any shorter cold air can reach the valves and warp them
