Tecumseh H25 2.5HP - Max RPM?

It's been awhile since I posted here. I finally got one of my engines running. I ended up doing a motorized bicycle since that made more sense than a go kart in my situation(live in an apartment and no space for a go kart). Here's my original thread: http://www.diygokarts.com/vb/showthread.php?t=1381

The engine is a Tecumseh H25 2.5HP 127CC.

Anyway, I was wondering if you guys had any experience with what max RPM these engines will run RELIABLY? The bike has 21 gears and has plenty of gears to get a high top speed, so there's no reason to wind the motor out for top speed like you would with a single speed vehicle.

I've read the Tecumseh manual, but I can't find anywhere where it states what the maximum safe RPM with a load is?

Here's some pics of the contraption I ended up building. :D

Many small engine manufacturers (most?) consider 3600 rpm to be the "safe" maximum.
Most of us run our stuff considerably higher than that knowing that there may be negative consequences down the road.
