Tecumseh carb issue

i bought a new carb for my 6.0hp Tecumseh engine and whenever i give it a little gas it just keeps going faster and wont stop

Do you hook it up like the old one was?
Why did you change the carb?
Can you post pics?

yes i hooked it up right but its not problem with the springs i have a test spring on it right now because i need to get a new one. even when i hold the carb closed it still keeps getting faster. and how do i upload pics here?
