Nope. Didn't fix anything. Any engine will run anytime without air filter. Some in this forum believe engines run better without them. A false assumption.
Filter does not create "suction". Should be free-flowing or invisible.
If anything, filter is clogged to the point it's behaving like a choke.
You may have bigger problems than you think.
Could be just coincidental.

That's the thing it doesn't actually have a filter on it!!! But when I use my hand to create a little suction and then let go and then a little suction and then let go the motor runs fine.

You are describing a lean condition.

Tecumseh doesn't make kart engines as such.

I agree, but should still run without it.
Snowblowers do not have filters and, bolt for bolt, are no different than any other Tecumseh engine.
Engine model number can be found on flywheel housing.

You are describing a lean condition.

That's what I was getting at. Try turning the mixture screw out a little. My 12hp B&S's screw was turned in too far and would only let a little gas out. Unless the back was blocked off more then it would "pull" more gas in.

If so, then no adjust.
Model number will tell us everything.
Tecumseh carbs can be troublesome if gas left in them for long periods... much more so than other manufacturers.

Yeah uhhh I hate to tell you this but I think I am gonna give this one back to my grandpa and go with something else. No matter what we do we can't get the stupid thing to do anything and my grandpa has taken course on motor rebuilding and what not so he can fix just about anything. [except this] I have a 5hp briggs i'll put on it instead.

O yea I forgot to menchin that I think I have become kinda attached to this thing, I don't think It will be leaving the shop anytime soon even though I am going to put a different motor on my bike.

As I suspected, it is a snow engine as indicated by the "S" which did not include air filter.
Carb number is 631916. The first two digits are 63 which indicates an adjustable carb.
If these adjustments are not there, then somewhere along the way, carb was replaced.

Nope doesn't look like that It's close but It doesn't have those adjustments on it. And It is setup for an air filter and has one on it now.
