Opened up the gap on the driver and fixed the moving at idle issue. I had to weld the nut on like comet does because I broke the retaining washer taking it on and off a bunch of times, no big deal. One thing to be careful of is how far open the driver is, you can have it so much the belt doesn’t reach to top of the driver at full rpms. Of course, this can be a self made governo, not a bad thing for kids.
