I did. The hisun 196cc engine that comes on the ct200u(ex) has a 16mm output shaft, the torque converter is for a 3/4in shaft. There is a bushing that can be bought to adapt a 5/8 shaft to fit the 3/4 converter, but you would have to use a dremel and hone out the bushing a tad. 5/8 is .625in. 16mm is .630in.

There are two other options. get a gx200 crank with a 3/4in shaft and swap them, or get a predator 212 engine from harbor freight for $100.

I personally went with the predator 212 engine with a 3/4in shaft.

That 0.005" difference would not need to be removed from the adapter sleeve. The sleeves are typically split along their length and it would open to fit over the shaft anyway.

However, the TC drivers usually have a shallow integrated key which would only engage the adapter sleeve and not the crankshaft or only partly engage the crank which would invite damage to both.

You could probably get a 3/4" crank and new side cover gasket for $40 or less.

The Predator 212 is a bolt and go, Although the engines on the Colemans are basically the same as a 212, I always felt like they have more power. Go power sports also sells a ct200u torque converter made for 5/8 shafts https://www.gopowersports.com/coleman-ct200-series-torque-converter-kit/ but since you already bought a tav2 I would just go for a 212 or like 65ShelbyClone said to replace the 5/8 shaft to a 3/4 crank. Depends if you have the money/ how much you want to get your hands dirty.

Like AAIM said, it was bolt and go. You will have to cut that bar that runs around the back tire off for the converter. You will also need to raise the engine up about an inch. I did this with washers and longer bolts. Go power sports sells 1in square tubing with the right bolts for $20 if you'd rather not have it look so rigged. Lol
I recommend the hemi version predator specifically. Also, carry over your airbox and tank from the hisun engine. This will make it MUCH more easy to fill the gas tank. The predator tank has the cap in the center and is a pain to get to with the engine raised.
