I was reading on gocartusa they have a TAV2 30-100 and it is rated from a 2.5hp to a 11hp and it is a clone of the comet tav2. Well the comet one was rated only up to 8hp. Do you feel it is safe to put it on a 11hp?
Let me first start by telling you a little on what i am working on. I have a old 4wheeler that i gutted and going to buy a clone from harborfreight. they have a really good deal right now. But I want to buy the biggest motor i can fit in there as I am already collecting metal so i can build a well it is more of a golfcart for the farm. Not wanting it fast but having the power to do some stuff if needed. I know i can gear it way down to give the power and i plan on it. Only need 20mph max speed. But want enough power if i need to move a empty trailer if needed or pull my spraying rig, put out feed or other little odds and ends.
If the company says you can put it on a 11hp motor would you or would you go with a smaller motor for it or go with a 13hp and get the 40? I don't really see any kits for the 40. When you buy a 40 the driven and drive dose it tell you how far apart they have to be and all the other specs you need?
