TAV SETUP....where to find and ect

alot of talk about a TAV has me interested where can a man buy one NEW?
and how much if you can find one..

I had one on a 18hp VTWIN but it came in HARD I think it needed work and I dont think it had much overdrive.. it wasnt a TAV30 it was the bigger one..


also... what gearing ratio is LOW RANGE if high is 10% overdrive

Check eBay, not sure if there's still new ones on there.

A cvt (torque converter) constantly changes ratios. There aren't two given ranges there are hundreds. The starting ratio depends on the size of your driven/driver.

They all come on hard, unless you use a Honda scooter setup, where the CVT is constantly in motion and there is a cent clutch on the driven.
