Tadpole Trike E-Kart

[Standard issue]

I'm building this using the go-parts from a Razor e-300 electric scooter. Not much left to do except steering, front wheels, and electronics. It's for my 5-year old and I expect it to be pretty slow but I left room for upgrades as his talent builds.

2 questions tho....
1) why throttle button on the steering wheel instead of a gas pedal?
2) I have a E175 razor scooter and you have to push start it up to 3mph before the motor will engage. Does the 300 not require that? Cause if it does it wont be easy for him to push start it while sitting down. Hope Im wrong on that.

doesn't require push start. It's not the original controller, anyway. I finished the build last night. I'm going to let him ride it this summer/fall then painting over the winter. Here's a short vid of him driving in the driveway.
