New dremel stuff ...

All the stuff you see was less then 10 USD shipped. HSS 3mm bits , sanding drums and disks ..

Steel wire brushes , and plastic ones too which are very useful for cleaning carbs and small engine parts.

May not be top but price:value cant be beaten.. this same stuff in the local hardware shop would easily 100 USD or more

Stop it already will ya!!?? I love my Dremel and I cannot get enough of those items it uses especially those awesome cut-off wheels!!!!!!! The HEAVY DUTY ones rock and the mini sanding pads rock like all get out!!!! When I have to chop a bolt off with my awesome cut-off wheels, I use the sanding pads to clean up the edges and oh man!! I also like that grey rubber like eraser wheels that can polish and dust off the rust!! OH, show me more!! BTW, I love my extended pencil tip attachment, and I have two other cool attachments for the bench, including a milling attachment. My Dremels hate me :D...... I want to buy the new Dremel 4000!! DON'T dump that motor! It can't be that bad! Keep up the good work you Dremel hog!!! :D

I like the 3000 i have now , really good stuff . For small stuff i prefer the Micro Air Dremel . Even tho the compressor i have can barely keep up , its very light and thing thus easy to use when you need to port cylinders or whatever ...

Well , truth to be told i was a bit ****ed at the moment of writing ... KT100 definetly isnt a bad little motor , just that i got a dud ...

Maybe tear it down once i drive the kart a bit ... get to do some porting ...

So ... ordered a starter clutch from alliexpress .. realized it doesnt fit the yamaha ... tear it open , use the new spring and some other parts in the yamaha starter , boom it works.

Bolt the clutch on ... it doesnt want to spin ... so tear it open aswell , realizing i got a wet clutch , jackpot ! Cleaned it aswell , put it together and lapped it to the crank. Boom , works.

Then i cleaned and rebuilt the HL304 . Boom , cant test it out yet :p

To do : brake pads , brake linkage , steering wheel adapter , carb adapter , disc carrier , axle keyes , bearing carriers

I need to find someone like that!!! Very cool he was excited about it! Make sure and give him a ride when it's all done, you'll have an "in" for all time after that!

Great work.

Saturday for now is brm brm day as Karte_Molim would put it .

Today im probably welding in the EGT probe , maybe if i get the engine open (again) figure out a good spot to put the RPM pickup sensor ...

The brake tie rod needs shortening and some ball joints ..

Anyone has an idea of where to get something like the 90 degree elbow fitting like on the picture ?

So , HL304 succesfully fitted with a proper adapter . Tested for leaks , none found so that is cool.

Onto the issues :
#1 Clutch is leaking alot , and the keyway for the clutch is wonky . Had a feeling the key fell out again . Also got sprayed by oil aswell.

#2 No spark . This i cannot explain except the key for the rotor got broken again . It ran great for a minute then it just shut down , and couldnt get it to run again . No spark whatever i did .

So , im baffled at the moment ... anyone have an idea on what is causing this ?

More then baffled im mad , because the engine never ran better , then plop , dead.

Tho , taken a chill pill ...

What do you guys think of the new position of the carb ? In the original position the pulse hose wasnt long enough , and i couldnt adjust the carb from the seat . This way , the throttle cable is out of the way , and i can adjust the needles on the go ...
