would I notice the diference between an independent rear suspension and a swing-arm live axle?

what about using the drivetrain a fwd car? engine, tranny, cv axles?

a true independent rear is difficult for a kart... imagine your chain that connect from the engine --- if the wheel moves up/down indepentdently from where the engine is mounted, then the chain will fall off.

That's why most use the swing arm full rear end.

i'd imagine there's certainly some... but it's still better than no suspension by far.

It can be done but you have to have the center of the swing arm hinge in line with the center of the jack shaft

And with independent it can go over each little bump.
with swing arm if one side gets bumped the whole back side goes up, unless your going 5 mph you won't really notice it

what would be the strongest rear suspension out of these 3. I think it would be the same, since the materials have same push/pull strength, but no harm in asking. also using the same arms as up front would make CAD and assembly easier.

So is there a difference

if that is independent suspension it wouldn't really matter but the middle one will make it alot easier when puting in the u joints or cv joints
