Why is it apart? BEWARE engines that come in pieces. For 300 you can get yourself a running bike if your patient. Better safe then sorry. Suzuki are very good bikes always have been always will be I HOPE. If he can prove it running its a decent price.

I wouldn't pay 300 for a bike in pieces, unless it's just cosmetic.. Suzuki's are very strong runners usually and relatively trouble free so you'd be good there..

If the engine is stripped

Don't touch it

If the bike is stripped
Ie engine out and wireing harness stripped then that's ok
Just make sure it's all there

it depends
on road bikes
loads have electric start
everything newer will
but loads of older ones dont

dirt bikes often dont due to weight saving and the extra complications of a starter motor with all the electronics in mud and sand

All street bikes since about the mid 70's have electric start. If the one you're looking at is actually late 80's it won't even have a kick starter...
