Hello again. My daughters wheel almost fell off yesterday because a castle nut came loose. I got one and put on there but the wheel is loose when shaking side to side. In the pics can you tell me if the part my finger is on looks right. They seem to not sit straight. Are they supposed to. Thanks.

NOPE!!!!! It's a castle nut....the cotter pin eliminates any problem there....the question is......where is the movement side to side coming from?

If from where you are pointing.....that needs to be replaced ASAP!

That ball joint is only designed to pivot.....(in other words).... move sorta like the hands on a clock....move in a circle...but the center should not move....the quickest, easiest way to check is.....the whole assembly should move up and down....but not back and forth....(from front of kart to rear)....
