Im looking for a little insite from more experienced builders. I plan to set my 11 hp clone up in a reverse trike. I was wondering if the amount of trouble and extra work would be worth building a swing arm, or just solid mount the motor and rear wheel like a mini bike.also if i build a swing arm do I mount the motor to the frame or make the mount part of the swing arm were the motor moves with the rear wheel.
Thank you Mark

It depends mostly on your skills and competence, as well as your budget. If this is your first build, you may be better off building a rigid frame, with the potential to modify later.

You could either mount the engine on the swingarm ("unsprung",) or seperate from it. Mounting on the swingarm is cheapest and easiest.
