Me and my partner are in the works of a superkart, and we want it to be electric. The kart must have a top speed of 160mph so we are looking for a powerful motor, around 100hp. If you know any motors that can do 100bhp please tell me because as of now we can find anything.

Welcome to the forum! Are you building the frame yourselves? The reason i ask is because at speeds of 160mph, the frame has to be precision engineered

what you want is a three phase motor..
indeed Tesla used a 162kW (220 horses) version with a lotus elise to make their roadster.
just check on industrial motors with what you think is your target power (kilowatts, not horses)
Anywhoo, with that amount of power, you want an equally insane amount of batteries, so be prepared to spend a cubicfoot of 100 dollar bills.

LOL using a tesla motor in a go kart!! I own a Tesla Model S 85D and it is crazy, but I am not sure how you are going to put an AC Induction Motor in a go kart? They are about the size of a watermelon, weigh a ton, and require a special controller... Also, the battery packs for those cars are around $20k-$30k... Since it is a go kart you won't have to pay that much, but it is still going to be crazy.
