super torque converter

hay all

i was just wondering if you could make a super tc if you bolted 3 tc together and adjusted the spring tension on the second two. if it does work you could have a low gear of almost 20 to 1 then if you used a 30 series a highe gear of .729 to 1, wich on anaverage kart would burn the tires and then launch you up to an insane 94mph. any way i dont have enough $$ to make this if its possible but if any one has or will make it id love to see it!

yeah springs would be tough, and no there is no need but why not. any way i dont have $600 plus for this project, just thought i would mention it if any one did have the $$

as soon as you hit a hill it would downshift like crazy. its just not worth it, for the price you could get a motorcycle engine which will be better, smaller, and more powerful.

yeah i gues your right motor cycle engine would be better, i think this idea would come to life for the same reason the 2 speed belt tensioner did. and yeah if you hit a steep hill the thing would go crazy

i thought he said it would have only cost him $20 more for a tc, maybe im wrong but what ever i dont think anyones dropping 600 big ones for abunch of tcs smashed together, lol

If I had to add input I'd say friction was not taken into account for this and synchronization, I believe it would be a useless idea. 2 westbend 820's with torque converters would be a much better idea...
