Sorry to ask, but I have searched the archives here and cant find it.
I am in the process of putting a Manco 710E kart back together. It has a Subaru EX27 robin engine. I have everything in working order except the linkage from the throttle to the governor and top of the carb. I cant for the life of me figure out how to hook this stuff up. I have the manual but it doesnt show anything other than where the springs and linkage are on the governor arm... nothing about where or how they hook up.
Can anyone help, perhaps by posting a pic of a similar setup or walking me thru how it goes. ?
I have a new throttle cable in place of the old one. Arrow marked "A"
The governor has two springs, and a linkage rod. Arrow marked "C" In the pic it looks like it is pointing at the throttle cable, but actually it is pointed at the governor linkage not visible under the tank.
the throttle on the top of the carb is not hooked to anything. Yellow arrow Marked "B"
Is the governor safe to remove? If so, How do I do it properly?
Trying to get this done by Tuesday for my sons Christmas present. Thanks!!!!
HELP!?!?!?!
