Sub that went missing on it’s way to the Titanic?

What’s your opinions on the outcome and what do you think happened? Hull failure? Power failure? I don’t want anything to do with 2 1/2 miles under the surface. Bonus question you have no out option you have to go to the titanic by submarine or you have to go to space what would be your choice? I get no one could force those two options but hey with a bit of imagination I think I’d try my hand at space.

12,500ft...prayers out...there is so much hidden on this its not funny...no list or OR if there were passengers??? I read that a couple days ago, and coast guard "types" have no idea where in the ocean? dunno

down, its a SUB no real info, I have heard since a few days ago, heck I never heard of this being a thing. But after last years hi-rez videos. I wondered if this was real to visit the wreak as a tourist $$$

Your explanation is why I choose space every time. You didn‘t know until recently 250k could even get people to the titanic and it’s really still a new type deal and not proven. But going to space? Pshhh we did that way back and It became old news. It came at terrible costs but we have made getting up there pretty textbook. Dark decent 12k feet down in silence or pointing straight up and waiting for the rockets to light. It would be perfect because the noise of the rockets would drown out my screaming in terror.. I just would feel more confident about getting back down to solid ground then I would be confident of rising up 2 1/2 miles after dropping the ballist or whatever.

I read that a plane heard the banging and pinpointed location for rescue teams on the water

I would tell my school age kids they had NO business being out anywhere after 11 pm when they would sneak out of the house. I'd say the same thing to those civilians going to outer space or the deep ocean ......... they have NO business going there. ( for the scientist is a different story ) They have a lot of money and a lot of balls and I understand these type of people are risk takers but the odds here are not good and they have a lot to lose. Not worth having bragging rights ..........

Debris field being evaluated

A debris field was discovered within the search area by an ROV near the Titanic. Experts within the unified command are evaluating the information," the Coast Guard wrote on Twitter.

Officials said the field had been found by Odysseus 6k, a remote operated vehicle (ROV) deployed by the Canadian vessel, the Horizon Arctic, that can dive 20,000ft underwater.

Um...was this Titan's "maiden voyage" to take "rich folks" to "sight see' the wreck of the Titanic?
...which would be very ironic
...& won't, look good on their resume

...or even 2 or 3 of them (ya know, back up plans)

Why wasn't this thing tethered, to the launch vessel (Polar Prince)?
...so, they could just winch 'er back in the event of an emergency
or (if too far/deep)
Why not have another submersible follower type vessel (close behind) with an emergency crew?

It's NOT like they were on a tight budget

Many many dives before including incidents almost every time of the over 20 dives the guy did to titanic. Getting something on the titan caught on a rotted piece of roof of titanic they Landed on!

Bolted into the sub from the outside.. second sub is useless against the alleged internal implosion past being close enough to the implosion there’s a danger the debris field gets them to.
