weird, stun guns are illegal pretty much here without paperwork. yet we can still own pretty much any firearm. you wanna ruin someones day with a 20mm cannon? No problem, as long as you don't hit them with a tazer... according to the law, tazers are offensive weapons not defensive? LMAO but that doesn't stop people from owning them.

And tazer and a stun gun are 2 different things. The stun gun, you hold in your hand and you have to be in arms length of the assailant. With a tazer, you get a stun gun, AND it shoots 2 small electrodes, attached to wire, at the assailant. The normal "civilian" version has approximately 15' range, where as the police version has a 25' range. I used to have an online store selling self defense items.

from what i read on the legal page of california that you are legally allowed to own a tazer if you are over 16 and not carrying it in airport or gov building

Taser brand tasers (the only manufacturer ) only come in 100,000 volt...... X26 is a single shot, and the x2 is a dual shot Taser gun. What you have must be a stun gun. Like I said, I used to sell these things. I've played with many. Any you can't believe what the volt rating is on the cheap chinese brands either. I've tested many personally. I have a good brand 100,000 volt stun gun that will/does drop me to my knees, while a cheap 1,000,000 volt chinese brand would barely take over my musculoskeletal system and double me over..... My 1,000,000 volt stun gun knocks me unconscious. Yes, I've tested the majority of the products I sold. Some of them, with much much regret......

Oh you explained that a tazer was one you held in your hand lol but yes anyways .When i think of the word stun gun i think of a gun projectile not something u use in your hand and have touch to someone but more along the lines of something you shoot .I bought the Vipertek vts880 as for the difference in them knocking you out or not is the difference in amps.

Misconceptional names..
Taser-versus-Stun-Gun2.jpg

one's not exactly a rifle while the other is not exactly a gun.

still one's called taser (Tom A Swift's Electric Rifle) the other stun gun.

Unfortunately, that's the only person I could trust not to over do it..... I didn't want her to have fun doing it. At first, she was scared to do it. After the third one i tried, it was nothing. She just reached out and zapped me. I woke up on the floor, with her looking at me with eyes the size of half dollar coins. She didn't know it'd knock me out, neither did I.
Took a break after that one........

Nope, Amps will kill you (1mio volts @ 1 Amp will instantly ROAST you! 1 MegaWatt!!!!)
but it's the Volts that knock you out...

well, that is if tickles the right spot ;)
Since that's what causes muscle contraction, trigger the nerve receptors (heat, pain and such) and ultimately send signals to your brain.
too many inconsistent "unprocessable" information reaching your brain and you pass out.

(remember the old movies where women pass out because of shocking news??.. same thing!)

Amps is what'll kill you.

since that'll produce serious heat in your tissue (effectively cooking you)

So no, he'd been knocked out by volts, not amps ;)
(but yes.. a minimal amount of amps [as in milli- or micro- ampere] is needed to establish a closed flowing circuit)

I have a 100,000 volt gun that I use for medicinal purposes. :smiley_omg:
I suffer from severe migraine headaches, that sometimes, will actually render me useless as a human..... its sit in a dark room with a couple bottles of meds . One of them, each pill costs me $36, with insurance. The other one is so high, my insurance won't cover it, so my doc got Pfizer to sell me the doses at $10, and my info (medical) is used in studies of the med, and I get offered to try new meds.
:backtotopic:
Besides the meds, one thing that I found helps, is an extremely hot shower with a massage shower head. Mine is set to 3 hard pulsating jets, and with my city water pressure, it feels O SO GOOD..... A 30 minute treatment, massaging my head and neck, and the pains start to relieve. Now, here is the weird one..... I use my stun gun, in short bursts, to zap the base of my Scull/neck area. The shocks are done so I have no big head twitching, causing more headache. I go to the side of the "points" that will do you in. After that, I take 3 more zaps. One to each side of the center of my Scull, in the back. Where the Scull attaches to the neck, on the muscles kinda behind the ears. The last one is at the top of my head, in the back, where the hair makes that natural swirl look, coming out your head. You know, that first patch of hair you get as an infant......
I don't suggest you guys try it. I've been to many doctors and have tried MANY MANY things to get rid of these headaches. The stun gun came into play, after having paid to get shocked by "trained professionals ".... I now own my own electro-shock thing, like what's used at a chiropractor. It's feels gooooodddd... I also have a cheaper version that is portable. I wear it at work as needed.
Ok :backtotopic:
