I am new at this, but I've taken apart hubs from rims to sand and repaint. I've got 2 nice tires for the rear of our Kart.13x6x5
I've got hubs on the kart axle already, so I just need to remove the ones on my wheels so I can put them on the Kart. We got the 4 nuts off, put the screws refuse to come out.. Are theses sometimes welded in? Are my efforts just wasted time???
please help!

depends, sometimes there studs, very hard to remove since there classed as a permanent joint, if there just stuck bolts wd40 and a wooden mallet, or piece of timber and hammer will do the trick. Really need a pic for better help

I took 2 photos, but to insert image in here it asks for url:format, my photos are just jpgs, so I've created yet another problem it seems. I don't see an option for just adding an attached file on here?

prop up the wheel on something flip it over so the 4 bolts face up, grab maybe a piece of 1 or 2x6 and put that on top of all 4 bolts then give it a few taps with a hammer or preferable a rubber mallet, and maybe throw in some lube

WD-40 on the bolts, a plank of wood covering all bolts, and a mallet to knock it loose.

I shortened it. We all have a "ya what he said" moment here and there.

It's just more common. And a great rubber fishing lure bait. It really works to attract fish. Just a random bit of info.

they are sort of pressed in there. They have a splined shaft and stay in there real good. One hard hit with a hammer and they will be out. The ends will burr so grind them back nice.

Seems everyone gave the same answer, where's the originality here?

Put the rim on a cinder block with the hub resting over one of the holes. Place it under the highest tree in your yard. Next, ... climb the tree with a bowling ball, ... well you can guess the rest! :roflol:

Are you serious? The last time I lubed up my reel I got a little messy with it, and went insane trying to clean it all up figuring the fish would avoid it like the plague! :mad2:

Cfanger- Glad you got it sorted. Cheers!
