Hi All,

Sons friend stripped the tie rod end threads on the driver side. Not really sure if this would be a RH or LH thread? Or does it not matter? When you thread this stripped tie rod end onto the tie rod, you turn it clockwise to move it closer in.............and vice versa.......

I tried to rethread the inside w/ my HF tap set..........but didn't hold the rod in. I think its stripped out beyond repair. If I had a welder I would try and tack weld the tie rod end onto the rod, to keep it from pulling back out.......but I don't :( (I have one on order from HF).

This is what I bought......hope its ok! Can anyone confirm?

Verify the size. They are very inexpensive at BMI Karts web site. Also put a nut on the tie rod to find out if its a right hand or left hand thread.

Replace the tie rod ends with deluxe (solid) ones at BMI Karts website. The ones you have are stamped steel which is not good.

Thanks guys! I actually had purchased those on Ebay, and getting them tomorrow. To be honest, they look exactly the same as the ones on BMI...(and BMI was going to rape me on shipping these!).

Seemed like a great price. Verified that tie rod end was a RH thread.
