stright pipe question

I am planning on making a straight pipe for my engine and was just wondering would mild steel do grand?

thats what i am using, chrome plated of course! fyi, i tried mine with the bendy pipe, then with straight, bendy is better.

i don't have a digital mic, so i could really only guess. the pipe fits barely over the stock mufflers pipe and roughly as thick. it is a portion of a motorcycle crashguard.

1/32 is plenty thick for the wall as long as it has a support

should be same diameter and shape as port
