Hey guys change of plans...as some of you know I just got my hands on a 87 Arctic Cat 500cc twin Spirit...well I have decided that over the next however long im going to be building a full sized street legal bobber/chopper...here's some pics of what I got so far more info to come as I get it...

My very rough frame design...gas tank I will be fabing myself and it's designed after the Warlock tanks...

And this is the beast...carbs are taken off and are being cleaned as of now...

Yes I am im going to be using the setup that was on the sled except that instead of the chain gearbox setup im going to put a v-belt pulley on the jack shaft...thanks guys im rly excited to

Thanks man!!! haha yeah it is wide id say 2 maybe 2 1/2 ft with the clutch...that's why im gonna build around it ;)

question for you sled guys in the pic below in the red circle is the main plug for all my electronics (lights etc.) and in the yellow circle is the wiring for my CDI box...now those are totally separate and I was wondering if I unplug the electronics if the motor will still run without them???

with these suzuki/arctic cat motors your gonna need to jump two wires in the main harness. there should be two yellow, brown, and black. IIRC jump the brown and black to get spark. I have a suzuki/cat 440 in my golf cart, and thats the only thing i dont like, the stupid norm. closed ignition circuit.

ok thanks Krunch I think im gonna leave it for now...not sure if im gonna put a battery in it or not maybe ill just leave it the way it is and just put new lights on...the old ones are pretty beat and not the right size anyway
