Hey Guys -

I acquired this kart last fall for next nothing (my first kart since I was a kid). Threw a new 212 and a TC on it and off I went. As usual I cannot leave well enough alone. As I do most riding off road I am not happy with the rear differential setup.

Can you guys help me out with my parts list for a live swap. I haven't completely disassembled the stock rear yet but it appears the hubs and (1) brake rotor are keyed so I'm thinking I could reuse those. Factory rear axle measures just under 42" so should I be fine with just an axle, new keyed sprocket and (1) rotor? I'm wondering if the factory hangers are going to work also. Thoughts, suggestions?

Thanks!

Off hand if the shafts are a common size like 1" or the like, then I'm sure you'll be able to find bearings easy enough..
Since the major part to reuse is, the brake discs... Then id get a keyed shaft that size, the length you need... Although you might need to get the ends turned down/milled a bit for fitting to the wheel hubs...
So I would be looking at those items to establish terms for your next move...

Actually its a boot sleeve to cover the axles.... Something about liabilities from kids getting wrapped around the axle (parts, clothing ect)...
