True story: My father bought a CJ-5 in the 80's with a 350 SB and a wild AF cam in it, it would barely idle. He engine swapped it with a Gremlin, put the AMC straight 6 in it. Then he painted it with house paint. Most bat-sh!t Jeep story ever.

My cj5 has a rear from a cj3A with the 5.38 gears and twin stick swapped in. I get out on the street in second and that 283 buzzsaws i don’t care about that engine if it blows to pieces I’ll swap in another cheapo.

Just break my whole foot pushing that pedal through the floor on that cj5 and the little 283 just won’t let go
