I picked up a relatively old Briggs 7HP 227CC motor yesterday for my Manco and was wondering if anyone makes a straight shaft crank with keyway to replace the tapered non-keyed crank on this motor.

Or is shaving the crank down to 3/4 from 7/8 and getting a keyway milled in the only option?

Thank you.

LOL

Well I took the 2-piece carb out, separated the 2 halves, removed the main jet, emulsion tube, float and needle. Carb cleaned and blew compressed air through all orifices. Put it together, fresh fuel, and she fired right up. Just purred at idle, feels dang torquey on the ground.

Though, now I'm trying to source a plastic fuel tank. I LOVE the look of the original metal tank, but she's rusty a bit on the inside and can't see myself spending $30-$50 for some fuel tank sealer.

Do you guys know of any options?
