Sticking clutch

I have a torque converter clutch and the centrifugal part that is suppose to move in and grab the belt moves in but doesnt back off, it just stays pinched. any ideas why thats happening?

You need to clean your TAV every 5 hours of use. Heres a stickied thread by Blaz:
