sterring parts question

Hello all. Have another tao tao go kart question. It is a 125cc. My daughter was riding sunday and the steering went crazy. I have no luck finding this part mainly because I don't know what its called. I called one place I found on line and was told to call taotao. Which I've tried with no call back. So do any of you know what this part is called my hand is on. The rod goes from tie rod end on wheel to round thinh my hand is on. It has a ball joint in it which it locked up causing the rod to snap I assume. Thanks for any knowledge. And where do I find parts.

If you can get the other half out of the tie rod you can save the rod. But that looks part of the steering rack to me. But it also looks like it comes off also with those threads on the right of the picture. So I would say its a rack bushing of some sort.

My guess is an inner tie rod end. That's what they are called on cars anyways.

Might ask them for measurements or you might even try your local auto parts store, they might have something close.
