I am trying to rebuild an older kart and do not have a steering wheel. The shaft is splined. What type of an adapter do I need with splines so I can mount a three bolt or other wheel?
Does anyone have these parts for sale?

Laura, there's serveral different sizes of Steering Wheel Hubs made for different brands/models of Go karts. Some of the more common steering column sizes for Karts made in the USA are 5/8" & 3/4", but you might need one of the various Metric sizes instead...

You should accurately measure the diameter of your steering column, and then also confirm the hub you buy has the correct number of splines.

Then you'll also need to confirm the steering wheel you purchase will fit the hub...

Steering Hub Question

I am trying to find a kart steering hub that has 32 splines. I find other numbers such as 36 splines. Not sure what type of kart this old one is but if anyone knows these things I would appreciate a route to find a 32 spline hub. Thanks.

Gotta picture of the kart by chance ? We can probably identify it for you. And go from there.

Hi Laura, please stick to a single thread with a single question like this ;)
(ideally stick to one thread per kart! that way we can reference more easily ;))

Now, 32splines is not telling I'm afraid..
as anderkart already said, there are plenty sizes around, imperial and metric
and it's impossible for us to tell which one you'll need.

measure the shaft diameter (try both.. metric and imperial)
post a pic of your kart and tell us mabout the make and model as best as you can,
the more info we have, the easier it'll be for us to tell you what you need and where to find it.
