steering setup

well i'm making an offroad go kart with full suspensions. on the front are double a arms. well the problem is when the suspension go up and will make the steering rods up with it, if not set up right they will bend or even break. how do i avoid this

they are small cars, but it depends on the size of the cart and the size of the rack and pinion steering setup thngy from the car

what about monobeam? would the same as regular go kart,except pivots at center. use rod ends for tie rods, they won't jam up unless you have too much suspension travel.toe will change some,but not enough to notice.if your having trouble,draw your system out on paper and use a compass to check the movement,including tie rods.i don't think it will bind though
