I fully understand where you're coming from. My first build was a trike, I did it with one of my friends as he has a welder, we took a bicycle front end and welded it on a square frame with 2 back wheels. Threw on a snowblower engine and a chain, and it ripped (about 45mph top speed, spun tires off-road and on dirt roads). This same "friend" told me he'd help me with this build, but he has ghosted me for the last month and a half, so I've been on my own. Essentially there is no way I can say "I'm not doing this project" as it is how I am going to graduate high school. My plan is to model the frame in a cad program, make it out of wood (i know) and never take the frame apart until I have the time to make it out of steel. This is because wood is really my only option right now. Once I make the frame I am not going to modify it to keep its structural integrity.
I'll post updates too, I'm very dedicated once I have a plan that I want done. And I'll add a video of the old trike because why not lol (

Also I'm not doing suspension, I'm basically going to make a static drift machine
