Have you guys had a steering setup that was just *too* repsonsive? I'm not a steering expert, so i'm unsure what I need to do to fix it, but every little bump has my steering wanting to get all squirrelly.

robert, i aint no expert either but if your arm on the stearing shaft is too long it will be too quick or sensitive, also if the arms on the spindles are too short, same thing. when it comes to the rest, like caster and camber and inclination, i realy dont know.-phil

thanks everyone for the advice. I just moved but hopefully by the weekend I can finish my project on the bar stool. it's done, it's just scary b/c of the steering.

robert, you have to have some caster in there too, or it just wont track straight, and wonder all over the place, and also push the front wheels when trying to turn. you probably know more about this than me but i would guess at 3 degree's??? with the short wheel base i just dont know.-phil
