Need advice on my steering problem.

Also about my tie rod question in video below. I only have one rod end on each tie rod. So left and right hand threads does not matter correct? I really don’t want steering wheel. So if I lengthen the arm will it shorten my pull? Steering has always been proven with my Barstools. I want this solid.

Thanks.

You really need to ditch the rack and pinion and go with a traditional Pittman arm to get the responsiveness you want.

You COULD drill holes closer to the kingpin to effectively shorten the steering arms, but that might get a little weird.

Yes, do the opposite of what you are proposing in the video.

Thanks friends. I did drill hole closer. It much better at full half turn. Seems to work well. Thank god for reverse. Steering seems sold. But have not dropped on ground yet.

Even with pitman arm and handle bars is treaky. Always gave me problems. Figured rack and pinion would be the ticket. When moving steering column vertical all kinds of things go on. Then frames that flex that no longer flex. I learned a lot from my last two builds. Fingers crossed.
