Where do you get your square tubing and other steel stock? Tractor Suppy? General hardware stores? Home depot? Online?

search google maps, and the phone book for (as blue said) "steel supply", "metal supply", or "steel yard". you can also go to local welding shop(s) and ask them were they get steel from.

Check scrap yards, steel distributors, just about any place with anything metal, they will all be cheaper than HD or Lowes.

Check out any place that fab stuff because many times they will sell you steel for cheap... Stay away from fastenal at all cost because they charge you per inch at some really big price..

F*ck. I've been buying tubing from HD for a few years now...

On of the funnier moments of enlightenment on this site! I though it was common knowledge that HD not only asked too much, but wanted your lunch money too.
