Ok I have some good help from here.

Anyways I have been looking around for tubing, I sent for quote and pretty much got the same price all around the board.

I have been told that 1 1/8” od x .065w will be to weak, I am agree to this, but was hoping if anyone has build a kart with this and still has the kart in shape..hahaha

I could go to .120 walls but the price jump 60 bones, So 60 bones could be another part.

Perhaps some other opinions may differ, but like I told you, for a basic ladder frame, .065 is too weak. .120 is pricey, for sure. Look into .085 -.100 wall, or maybe a thicker wall square tube, which I THINK is cheaper, not sure.
Again, make sure you're getting quoted on standard mild steel, not seamless or DOM. If mild is not available in the exact size you want, go a little larger, like 1 1/4". As the tubing gets larger, the wall thickness can safely decrease a little.
