Steel choice

Looking at starting a new kart build. Need another off road one. One is not enough. What would be the best size steel in round for a body and cage? I was thinking 1" with .093 wall thickness.

It largely depends on the frame design. A basic ladder frame will require bigger, thicker tube than a well-designed and supported space frame. Have you got a pic or sketch of your design plan?

Yes your choice would be suitable for most sized go karts. Do you have a tubing bender?
