when we get into the driver's seat, the front two tires go inward / \ why's that and how can I adjust that? Thanks.

Also, when stearing, it takes very little effort for it to want to go to the sides, not able to swerve and it take wide turns.

Going to need to see some pictures. But it sounds like you have some bump steer. You can align some of that out by aligning the front end with weight (as much as you weigh) in the kart.

Thats camber and seems to be a bump steer issue like Denny said If it doesn't have front suspension you have much larger problems than how it handles. I'd there is front suspension the shocks or struts are dead.
