Hello my name is Kevin and I am 14 I am trying to start a go kart progect. I need help making the stearing system. I would like it to have suspension but I gess I can go without pleas help me with a school project O yes I am making a go kart

Any reason why you are using a rack on a gokart?

You don't need a steering rack mate, just use a bell-crank/pitmann arm steering. Dead simple to make and adjust.

Good explanation, but the kick back which he is mentioning is from bump steer which that buggy will have with that rack.

yaaaa,that vid was from davesfarm, but ya use simple threaded rod and tie rod ends,that what I used,works great!!
