So a guy who I go to school with rides dirt bikes, and tends to trash them. He had a 1997 Honda CR80 (two stroke) that the bearings went out and caught the ring on a port, or something. Anyway, the engine needs a top to bottom rebuild. No front brake lever, 2 plastics missing, and not in the best shape. But, it has brand new fork seals, and nice rims with good tires.

But here's the deal: he sold the whole bike to me, complete, for $35!! The owners manual is worth almost that much lol. This is a high performance motocross bike that sells for $800-1000 easily in good condition. Granted, it's only an 80cc, but it will easily pull my 140 lbs around.

I might put the engine in my kart that I am building... we'll see

Yes that's what I thought. I figure that even if I don't fix it up, I could part it out for a decent profit. I've been working on it lately though, so I don't think I'm gonna get rid of it anytime soon :)

A piece from here and a piece from there, and you could have that thing together and running again. Good score, man.

Evil bay has been a fantastic resource for spares...
