Seems it's like pulling teeth just asking people to be decent on here. Long as people are respectful I don't have a problem with them. But soon as they start being a cactus, the sooner they leave the better. Ribbing is one thing, long as it's not bugging anyone too badly, but being a straight up punk is another. Be a helpful community member, not someone who trashes on everything.

+100000000

The thing about Doug (poboy kartman) was, although he was as subtle as a train smash, he was helpful; he gave good advice &, to some extent helped the mods enforce the rules; unfortunately, he also had no filter which resulted in him receiving multiple bans &, eventually, when enough was enough & he crossed the line to far too often, he was permabanned...

Yes, I do miss Doug but, I don't miss cleaning up his mess...

That is an excellent point! I miss him too...for the most part :D

I think *some* members are trying to be PoBoy 2.0...it just isn't going to happen

When I was 15, I didn't have enough time to mess around on forums.
I was too busy trying to lose my virginity, getting my driver's license, working my first real job, going to school, playing sports, and partying. Man 15 was pretty awesome!!!!

When I was 15 the only forum I knew of was The Roman Forum. That was a few years before my time.

Still there are many similarities between current and ancient forums.

When I was 15, the internet still went oooooooooooooooooobeepbeepboopbeepboopboopbeep eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrroooooooooooooooo kkkkkhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

AIM was state of the art, and Metacrawler was the best search engine out there.

I learned how to build stuff by taking things apart and figuring it out, and bullying was done in person, where you ran the risk of getting a mouthful of loose teeth if you gave someone enough crap.
