Hey everyone. Im starting the log today even though we started working on it a few days ago. I decided to start this project with him because he is a devil to me lol. I mean he despises me (i didn't do anything to him thats just how he is) but he has a little electric quad he loves riding and i asked him do you want to build this with me? The answer was "i dont want to build it with you" so i went and picked up the frame and engine regardless cuz if he didnt want one i was making it mine. As soon as i took it out of the truck, no rear wheels flat front tires he runs and says "can i drive it can i drive it" i told him he had to work on it if he wanted to drive it. every day after i get home he asks if he can work on it but its really late and dark so i tell him no.just the other day i got home early and he is waiting for me with tools saying come on lets fix it J.R. so this is what it looks like to date.

I would use the threaded axle with nyloc nuts. GKG stepdown would be even better.
Have another look at GKG & see what wheels they have to match what you have. Otherwise. is it possible to cut a keyway into your wheels?

No I'm getting everything new. It was a one wheel wonder before and im doing the conversion so new stuff is a must. Plus my girl wants safety cuz its primarily for my step-son. I might go with the GKG step down and get matching hubs I want to run 20 in tires. Anyone know where to get step down hubs no luck finding any 1" to 3/4"

Why do you need step down hubs? The step down on the axle is to provide a stopping point for the nut, then you use a collar on the inside of the hub to stop it sliding in.
