一块石头 starter relay solution

The fine quality 一块石头 starter relay on the rolling blue pile o sh*t crapped out already. I know it's really surprising that it could even happen.
While contemplating a fix that would be more reliable, it occurred to me that in the old days we used the old standby Ford starter relay. This handy device is useful for many applications including starter motors. As a bonus they are cheap, $12 online or so.
So the scrap pile came to the rescue once again! There was a nice used specimen in there.
15 minutes later the 一块石头 problem has been resolved.
Pretty basic stuff, but maybe something the young's can benefit from?

Looks a lot like an old lawn tractor starter relay

Could be, those things were used in about a kazillion different applications.
Its hard to beat low price and high reliability.
Once Ford moved on past the hand crank starter, electrical reliability became important.
